INTRODUCTION OF TOWN PLANNING DIRECTORATE
Town Planning Directorate is one of the most important directorate of Gujranwala Development Authority, Gujranwala headed by the competent and enthusiastic Director Town Planning. The directorate plays vital role in the service delivery to the people of district Gujranwala by efficient city and district Planning.
BRANCHES OF TOWN PLANNING DIRECTORATE
At present, Town Planning directorate is sub-divided into two sub-branches i.e.
- Town Planning –I Headed by Assistant Director (TP-I)
- Town Planning –II Headed by Assistant Director (TP-II)
Both branches perform their designated functions and report to the Director Town Planning in all official matters and chain of command.
FUNCTIONS OF TOWN PLANNING DIRECTORATE
At present, Town Planning Directorate GDA, Gujranwala is performing following functions under the provisions of Punjab Development of Cities Act, 1976 (Amended 2014), Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Sub-Division Rules 2010 (Amended 2013), GDA Building and Zoning Regulations 2020 and Punjab Development Authorities Landuse Rules 2009.
